Frequently Asked Questions

When does this Fellowship kick off?

The third cohort of the Mundo Verde Fellowship started the first week of October, 2022. We are no longer accepting applications.

Do I have to be bilingual to be a part of this Fellowship?

Absolutely not! This opportunity is open to any educator who teaches in a bilingual school OR even serves language learners in a traditional monolingual English classroom.

I am a Mundo Verde educator. Can I apply?

Yes! This is a wonderful way for Mundo Verde paraprofessionals, fellows and new teachers (new to teaching in general or to teaching in a bilingual setting!) to learn the foundational knowledge of serving language learners.

I am not in the classroom yet. Can I apply?

Unfortunately, no. In order to meet the goals of the Mundo Verde Fellowship you need to hold some type of teaching position front facing students, in order to implement practices as you learn them.
